Christmas Table

One of the best parts of Christmas is the food. Am I right? Or maybe the worst, if you ask my hips. All of that Christmas dining is even more spectacular with a pretty, festive table.

I had a lot of fun decorating our Christmas table. For the centerpiece, I used a gold charger, grapevine wreath, Christmas picks, glass cylinders, cranberries, and floating candles {most of which I already had on hand}. I set the wreath on the charger and stuck a few picks of winter greenery and red berries. I used 3 different heights of glass cylinders and filled each with cranberries and water and then placed a floating candle on top.

To set the table, I started with red and metallic brown placemats. I layered my white, shabby chic plates from Target with Christmas salad plates from Crate and Barrel {my sweet mother-in-law bought these for me in 2009, so they’re no longer available through c&b}. The green cloth napkins are from World Market, and the red berry napkin rings are from Bed, Bath and Beyond.

My favorite feature in our kitchen is the bay window. I hung a banner that I made using scrapbook paper and ribbon in front of it.

I am loving it! It feels so festive in the kitchen!

{Ignore the conflict between the light fixture and iron work. Bleh. There are plans to change this!}

I hope you have a great day! :)
