Hot Cocoa Station

Hello there! I am thoroughly enjoying the cold blast we’ve had here the last few days. I’m soaking it up while I can {this is Texas, after all} and taking full advantage of the hot cocoa station I set up in the kitchen.

Isn’t it fun? Everything feels a little bit cheerier when I walk into the kitchen every morning.

I set up shop next to our coffee maker, so there is something warm to drink for any taste. I highly recommend making yours a mocha by adding coffee to the cocoa mix. YUM! And a cup of hot cocoa is never complete without some fixins’ {as we say in the south}.

There is a whole container dedicated to marshmallows {because what is a warm cup o’ chocolate without a pile of marshmallows on top?}. We also have candy canes to stir in and pirouettes to munch on. I also set out my cute little latte spoon for stirring.

I love these little guys. They get to come out every Christmas to hold our warm beverages. I got them at Target a couple of years ago, but they usually have similar mugs year to year.

I tied festive ribbons from Michael’s to each canister to add a little extra Christmas spirit.

That’s what I call a cup of cheer! :)

Have a great day!

I love my husband, family, friends, and sweet puppy. Every morning starts with a cup of coffee, and many days end with one. I enjoy being crafty, organizing events of any size, being outside, appreciating art, finding creative and healthful ways to cook, and living a simple life. I spend a lot of my time working on projects to update our home (on the cheap), which may or may not include the occasional midnight spray painting. I'm glad you stopped by! If nothing else, I hope my crazy antics will at least bring a smile to your face!

  3. So simple, yet fun. I know I prefer hot cocoa to coffee and would be thrilled to see this at someone’s house.
