I’m linking up this week’s phone pics at Life Rearranged. You can find me on Instagram @likeasaturday.
Is it already time for InstaFriday again? This week kinda flew by {and I’m actually kinda glad}.
The hubs and I took in a football game on Sunday, courtesy of his company’s sponsorship {that he designs the ads for}. We rode up in the elevator with one of the players and then totally creeped on him. He’s not even that well known since he’s just a special teams player {so he has exactly one job to do}. We watched him stuff 3 plates full of fajitas into his face prior to game time. {And he was a really nice, polite guy}.
My sisters and almost bro-in-law came over Sunday night to hang out and I may have bribed them with cookies and such to help us move some furniture around. {You can see a little sneak peek here to what’s going on in our living room}. There may have been singing into the vacuum.
Christmas Eve = good, country breakfast. And the people said AMEN. It was delicious. We intended to head about at 9:30, but didn’t make it out until 11:00. Me: I don’t think we’re morning people. Tim: What was your first clue?
I love this movie so much. It still makes me cry. It’s just so great. I watched this while I wrapped the last couple of gifts and enjoyed some down time before the festivities began.
Christmas #1 was spent on Christmas Eve at my mom and dad’s house. We ate too much food and had too much fun. It was a great night.
Here is the world’s worst Instagram pic of one of the world’s greatest Christmas gifts. This is Mr. Panda…my new necklace that was handcrafted by my sweet friend, Rachel at Poppy and Fern. This picture doesn’t do it any justice. She is so talented! You can visit Mr. Panda and a whole zoo full of animals {and more!} here. You won’t regret it!
Christmas #2 was just the 2 of us and Macy on Christmas morning. We typically do stockings first, have breakfast {which consists of breakfast casserole and poppy seed bread}, and then open gifts.
Speaking of stockings….we had more than we have creatures. We are spoiled.
Santa brought Macy a new toy. This stuffed dog is longer than she is and it’s hilarious to see her carry it around the house.
The aftermath. I seriously scares me just a bit that the two of us make this mess on our own…..we don’t even have kids. What will happen when we do? We’ll have to dig ourselves out.
I hope you all had an awesome Christmas. I’m celebrating Christmas #3 with some of my best girlfriends tonight and Christmas #4 with my husband’s parents tomorrow {our Christmas do-over since his mom got sick
}. Did your Christmas go as planned? Are you sad that the celebrations are winding down, or are your ready to move on to a new month and a new year?
Have a great weekend and a happy, safe new year! I’ll be back later next week with a little recap of the year, and tips on how to tear down Christmas without {completely} losing your mind.

My friend is obsessed with pandas, she would just die for that necklace. It’s going on the short list for her potential birthday presents!

I am too! All of her jewelry is amazing, and there is an animal, flower, or something for everyone!
