May in a Nutshell

Whew! I survived May! It is always a crazy month, but this month was extra crazy! Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, parties….the fun never stopped!

I started May by showing off my sister’s hand painted, floral wedding invitations. It was a family affair putting these together. I think the finished product was beautiful!

I soaked in all that is Spring and added a lot of green! From my new beloved money tree, to a full sized terrarium, to miniature versions!

Mom was a big hit in May, and so was this post rounding up last minute DIY gifts. Y’all are apparently a bunch of procrastinators! ;)

I built a garden hose hanger post in the back yard as a part of the Spring Pinterest Challenge. It has been so helpful to have and I still love it!

I started the process towards updating our filing system to one fit for “grown ups” by updating this beat up filing cabinet. I also got a little more organized with this craft caddy, made cuter thanks to washi tape and by whipping our bathroom cabinets into shape.

My favorite project this month was summer-izing our front entry porch area, especially the cute bicycle wreath!

Thank you all for reading, and welcome to all who started following my little ol’ blog this last month. I’m still amazed that it’s not just my mom reading! :)

Have a great day!
