I’m ONE!

Happy Blogiversary to me! Yep! One year ago today, I started writing this little ol’ blog. My mom read it…and maybe a couple of other people. I have learned so much in a year, and now have thousands of people reading {!!!}. It’s funny to look back at early posts. I think “why did I do that?”. You’ve gotta start somewhere! And I still have a long way to go… I love learning and striving to be better!

Let’s take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

My first real post ever {aside from introducing my self} : DIY Rustic Chalkboard

This is still one of my favorite craft projects ever. It’s crazy easy. I love having it hanging on my front porch and changing out the doodles and quotes with the seasons. {see : here and here}

1) DIY Small Ironing Table

This is the project that has received the most hits…which is hilarious really. My mom was about to giveaway the TV tray, but I told her that I could whip it up into something useful for her new quilting hobby. I didn’t think it would be that big of a hit. Who knew!?

2) Coffee Table Refresh

I’m so glad this project has received so much love! Stripping and re-staining this table was so much easier than I ever anticipated and helped bringing our living room to the next level. And I still LOVE my rug. Like lay on it and pet it love. I don’t even care that it’s hard to vacuum and it sheds. It’s so pretty.

3) Linen Closet Organization

Oh, this post. I like it because what it is, not how it looks. But I cringe a little bit every day when I see how many people are getting to me through this post on Pinterest…and these photos are their first impression of this blog. I’d like to think I’ve grown since then. ;) I think it’s about time to re-photograph the closet and do a little update. But the organization has stayed! I still love it!
