July {in a nutshell}

July was a delightfully normal-ish month. There were no surprises, not big events…just getting back into our routine and accomplish things around these parts. The days have been long and hot, and are only to get hotter now that August is here. But do you know what else August means? Football! And Fall is coming soon! We’re going to make it, after all! :)

We finally hung curtains in our bedroom! We managed to get those up right before the 4th anniversary of closing on our house.

I made some pretty good progress on our master bath makeover. The gallery wall is my favorite part so far, but I’m also really loving the ¬†milk glass pendant lights from Ikea.

If you missed it yesterday, be sure to check out the DIY Faux Metal Letters. After years of loving the Anthro zinc letters, and still not wanting to shell out $18 a pop, I made my own! Never underestimate the power of spray paint !
