Colorful Easter Table

Easter is on its way, y’all! Do you have any plans to celebrate the day? Our Easter plans always seem to be last minute. It’s how we roll. :)

Whether you’re last minute or a planner, I have a little Easter table inspiration for you today. I had a lot of fun playing around and setting the table. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the sky is blue… it just felt so right to be arranging flowers and putting together a playful table setting!

Colorful Easter Table SettingIn true Like a Saturday fashion, I mostly used what I already had around the house. I love to mix dishes from different sets to create a collected, layered look. I used our white scalloped dishes from Target {circa 2009} and white china with a gold rim.

Colorful Easter Table SettingThe monogrammed wine glasses are courtesy of Personal Creations. I like to keep table decor low so you don’t have anything blocking the person on the other side of the table. The stemless glasses work better with a low centerpiece. Plus, they’re less likely to get knocked over. They’re perfect for a brunch!

Colorful Easter Table SettingTulips were arranged in colorful, gold rimmed goblets by Oh Joy! for Target. You can get a pack of 4 for $4. The wood slices and drop cloth table runner have become staples for my centerpieces lately. The rustic touch warms things up a bit and keeps it casual.

Colorful Easter Table SettingYou can’t have Easter without dyed eggs! The eggs are another fun way to infuse color into your table setting. I bought a pack of unfinished wood candle sticks from the craft store to use as egg cups and set one at each place setting.

Colorful Easter Table SettingThese would be great to use as place “cards”! You could either write each person’s name in wax before dying or write directly on the egg with a Sharpie. You could even paint the eggs with chalk board paint.

Colorful Easter Table SettingThe napkins are also from Target’s Oh Joy! collection. Paper napkins = less laundry. Hallelujah.

Colorful Easter Table SettingRight now, I have a few plastic gold eggs sitting in place of the real deal. {Because no one needs rotten eggs on their table come Easter Sunday}.

Spill the beans — what do you have planned for Easter? What is on your menu?
